Claim Management Services
Crop Sown Area
Comparison of sown area provided by government with remote sensing derived sown area at taluka level or village level as required (80 to 90% accuracy)
Crop Health Monitoring
Showing green biomass (NDVI), health (Chlorophyll) and Water Stress (NDWI). Comparison of fields and crop condition determination at Taluka level or Village level at various critical stages of the crop growth. Identification of crop growth and crop health deviation caused by pests, diseases, soil salinity & weather hazards.
Damage Assessment due to Natural Calamities
Identify affected areas and assess crop damage due to submergence based on Radar Data (Sentinel-1). We also provide individual crop loss assessment surveys in prescribed format as required by Insurance Companies.
Smart Sampling
Smart sampling is stratified random sampling taking into account the health of the crop during the growing stages and is more representative. PMFBY has mandated smart sampling which many states are following. For smart sampling each taluka is stratified on the basis of crop health and villages for CCEs are selected randomly from each strata. This ensures more representative CCEs leading to fair compensation to farmers for yield loss.
CCE Co-observation
Semantic specializes in co-observation of CCEs with end-to-end digital proof using CropTech App. CCE data is captured real time on the Semantic web portal through the ‘CropTech’ App. Dashboard access is provided to clients for monitoring.Dedicated personnel are deployed in the field to monitor ground situation during the entire crop season.
